Looking for ways to make math fun and interactive?

This link from the LEARN web site will bring you to a PDF document called Mathematics Through Play in Kindergarten.  The document is full of ideas such as ways to bring math into your routines in a meaningful way, simple games you can make, and even a few videos to give you more ideas.

Click here for a link to the printable Monster Math Mats in the picture, from Tami at Learning and Teaching Preschoolers.  To play the game, have the children roll the dice, say the number that was rolled, count out that many googly eyes to add to the laminated monster mat, and write the numeral in the box using a dry erase marker.
